Note that as of October, 2000, Colorado's leading newspaper has run some 50 stories on violence against women, lesbians, and gays since July, 1999. However, not one story in the series covers violence against or abuse of heterosexual men by women. Nor are the stories of the U.S. Attorney who ran over her boyfriend twice, the FBI agent who hit her husband in the face with a snow shovel, or any of the rest of the news stories the Denver Post covered on domestic violence against men included or referenced. These stories can be found in the
vignettes
on this site, however.
